You come to your mat and begin to awaken your natural healing through movement called asana and breath called pranayama. You will combine both while creating a well being in body, mind and spirit. During class and under the guidance of your instructor you will use props of blankets, blocks, and bolsters to create the alignment needed to improve your posture. Instructors are knowledgeable in adjusting as needed, and desired, by students to provide the ultimate experience for healing and well being.
Yoga means “to yoke” and when a yoke is balanced it helps to make the load lighter. In yoga, when we balance our physical body, our emotional body and our spiritual body, the heaviness of life becomes a little lighter.
